Northern Corridor Connections
WetlandCare Australia has recently begun delivery of the Northern Corridor Connections environmental restoration project, funded by North Coast Local Land Services (or LLS).
The project will implement priority landscape connectivity management actions in key corridor locations in the Tweed and Ballina areas. Project works involve a range of integrated corridor enhancements; including environmental weed control, vertebrate pest species monitoring and control, threatened species recovery and landholder and Indigenous community capacity building.
WetlandCare Australia will deliver the project in partnership with local agencies including EnviTE, Jali Local Aboriginal land Council and Bushland Restoration Services. You can read a recent article from the Rural Weekly on the project here.
